Escape Lounge at Manchester Airport

Escape is a new lounge for passengers departs from Manchester's Terminal 2. It is uniquely designed to provide surrounding that will help you work, refresh yourself or completely relax and unwind.

Escape is divided into zones, each one furnished, decorated and equipped to suit your needs. Need to catch up on work before or after an important appointment? Then we have just the place and the technology. If you want to buy something special, a personal present, or you simply need something extra, then we have a selected range of duty-free items that will fit the bill.

This is available to all passengers departing from Terminal 2 on a pre-bookable basis, for a modest £16.00 per person between the hours of 06:00 - 20:00 7 days a week. Please note that children under the age of 8 years are not permitted in the Lounge.

Whether travelling from Manchester on business or leisure, there is simply no better way to get your trip off to a flying start than to spoil yourself in the new Escape Airport Lounge.

Directions To The Lounge

The lounge is situated in the Terminal 2. After Passport Control, turn left into the main departure lounge, past the duty free and Burger King outlets. Follow the 2nd sign to the Escape Lounge.

Airport Lounge Information

• Location of Lounge: Airside (Terminal 2) - situated after Passport Control & can only be used by those in possession of a valid boarding card.
• Seating capacity: 95
• Earliest Arrival: Monday-Sunday: 06.00 hours
• Check in time: You can check into the lounge up to 3 hours before your flight departure
• Arrival before booked time: You will be allowed to enter unless the Lounge is full. If full, you will be asked to return at the booked time.
• Lounge Closing Time: Monday-Sunday: 20.00 hours

• Facilities: Television, Newspapers, Magazines
• Food and Beverage Arrangements: Complimentary snacks (biscuits/crisps), coffee, tea, soft & alcoholic drinks available in lounge. Champagne is available at extra charge.
• Smoking permitted: Yes, this lounge has designated smoking and non smoking areas
• Dress Code: All Lounges have a smart casual dress code and expect reasonable behaviour from guests.
• Children/Infants permitted: Yes, over 8 years of age only.
• Allows luggage be left in site: For security reasons, all luggage must be taken with customer should they wish to leave lounge even if they plan to return.
• Flight Announcements: All lounges have flight information screens. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they catch their flight. Lounge staff may also announce customer's flights but this cannot be guaranteed.
• Business Centre Facilities: Hot desks, telephone points, lap top connections & internet access, fax/photocopying, payphone facilities.
• Facilities for Disabled/Wheelchair: This lounge is accessible to wheelchairs via a lift at the 1st Executive Lounge sign in the main departure lounge.
