This delightful ivy-clad hotel is steeped in character. Built as a rectory in 1867, the Victorian charm has been preserved throughout and the hotel is now refurbished to a very high standard. The Old Rectory Hotel perfectly positioned 7 miles away from the commercial centre of the city, this tranquil hideaway offers a convenient and peaceful change of surroundings, on the fringe of Manchester . For business guests, function organisers and visitors seeking a base to explore the city centre shops, the Peak District National Park or the saddleworth tourist routes, the Old Rectory offers something for everyone. (This hotel is not suitable for customers staying on a room only basis.)

Directions To The Hotel

From the South: From the M6, follow the M56 East to M60 Stockport. Leave the M60 at Junction 25 (Signposted A560 to Bredbury). Take the signs towards Denton. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Two Trees Lane (Masons Pub on Corner). Follow road for approximately 1 mile going past 3 mini roundabouts. At the top of this road turn right into Haughton Green Road at the mini roundabout. Follow this road for 300 Yards, & turn left immediately before St. Mary's Church. The Old Rectory Hotel is situated about 200 yards on the left.

From the North: From the M6/M61 follow signs for the M62 & M60. Then directions to hotel are as above.

From Leeds/Yorkshire Leave the M62 @ Junction 20. Follow A627(M) towards Oldham (4Miles). From Oldham follow the A627 into Ashton-Under-Lyne. Remain on the A627, & cross over the M67 to the junction with the A57. Turn right heading towards Denton/Manchester, follow this road into Denton. At the main cross roads turn left into Stockport Road (A6017). Two Trees lane is the left turn at the first set of main traffic lights. (Masons Arms pub is on the left Corner)

From M6, M63, M61 or M60 Follow signs for Manchester Airport onto M56. Leave M56 at Junction 5. Follow signs for Terminals 1 and 3, go through traffic lights. Follow the purple signs in the road for Terminal 3. At the roundabout keep in the left lane and turn sharp left at the second roundabout.

• Nearest train station: Manchester Stockport - 4 miles
• Timings of transfers: If taking the secured parking option customers should allow about 40 minutes to drive to Airparks and transfer to all terminals (24 hours).
• Holiday Parking: Customers park overnight at the hotel. Reception will give you a voucher to exchange for long term parking. In the morning you take your own car and voucher to Airparks Services, a secured long term car park close to the airport which provides transfers to the airport 24 hours. After the 15 day option secured parking is charged at the car parks normal daily gate price. N.B If using the parking inclusive package and staying only on their return from holiday customers must go to the hotel reception before parking their car to collect their long term parking voucher.
