A number of key British airports are set to benefit from the latest route expansion announced by no-frills airline Easyjet.

Bristol Airport is particularly set to reap the rewards, serving as the gateway for five of the ten new routes announced yesterday.

The city will provide flights to La Rochelle, Marseille and Toulouse, as well as Polish destination Krakow and Rijeka in Croatia - all ready to commence in July.

The company also unveiled a new service to run four times a week from Gatwick to Split in Croatia, to be launched in May.

Additionally, Luton Airport will provide a daily service to Bordeaux and a four times weekly service to Rimini, to get under way in June

Easyjet hopes to attract 300,000 passengers on the new routes within a year, identifying Bristol as the recipient of ten per cent of its total traffic.
