Aberdeen Airport boasts a newly build first-class hotel

The luxurious hotel on Argyll Road, which did cost £15 million, offers 180 guestrooms. Travellers can find the ideally located establishment within walking distance of the air hub’s principal passenger terminal.

As well as regular guestrooms for persons travelling to and from Aberdeen, the new Marriott venue is also facilitated with a conference facility for social events and business meetings as well as an outstanding terraced outdoor restaurant.

The new venue is Marriot’s first Scottish Courtyard hotel and the second in Great Britain, with one hotel currently under construction at Gatwick Airport.

Marriot’s managing director and president, Ed Fuller said: "We believe this product has terrific potential in Aberdeen"

Fuller went on to explain that this establishment offers a benefit to the local area and noted that "it will be welcomed by the greater Aberdeen area".

The air hub in Aberdeen is BAA Scotland's quickest growing airport, with over three million passengers annually and flight services to some 35 destinations.
