Sixth Senses Spas and resorts along with Etihad Airways, in a novel venture, have decided to open luxury spas at airports.

At two of Ethihad’s resplendent airport lounges in Abu Dhabi and at Heathrow, Sixth Sense Spa plans to launch its range of Spa offerings and treatments. The Diamond First Class and the Pearl Business Class at Heathrow airport’s terminal four will host the first spa, and similar lounges at the Abu Dhabi airport will host the second spa.

The spas are to be set up in these airports to cater to customers who would like a refreshing massage before their flight is called, in order to alleviate the stress of travelling.

The myriad services offered will be available only to first class and business class passengers and also to those passengers who have upgraded by paying a bit extra to use the private lounges. Passenger going through a short transit will be treated to rejuvenating fifteen minute Sixth Sense’s special treatments. Also present will be an Asian spa, that will offer the special Asian range of head massages and foot detoxifying.

To relax before the flight’s departure, and for those who have a little more time on their hands, great treatments and fine massages will be available. Also featured are Sixth Sense Spa’s facial treatments. These treatments are targeted for passengers returning from their holidays.

Also on offer are treatments from Etihad, that feature neck and back realignment sessions. These sessions are bound to provide comfortable seating for the journey forward.
