US-based Luxury hotel brand Ritz-Carlton has again topped JD Power’s North America Guest Satisfaction Index Study.

The recognition marks the third consecutive year in which the five-star brand made the number one position in the survey, and it also managed to see a higher score in the 2012 edition, officials said.

Herve Humler, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company’s president and chief operations officer, said in a statement that the recognition was a “tribute” to the company’s employees that continue to keep customer satisfaction as the number one priority. He added that the J.D. Power and Associates results “speak for themselves” and lead the pack in the brand’s category across the board.

Humler went on to say that the results come as part of Ritz-Carton’s commitment to exceeding the needs and expectations of customers.

The news comes on the heels of a recent announcement by Ritz-Carlton that it would be adding 35 new hotel properties to its current portfolio as part of a new $2 billion growth investment. The new hotels will be located in numerous popular destinations ranging from Morocco to Vietnam and will push the firms total number of properties to more than 100 by 2016, officials said.
