Coventry Airport offers low cost flights to European destinations with Thomsonfly and Wizz Air and has been operating as a passenger terminal since April 2004 when Thomsonfly.com commenced its low cost flight operation.

Coventry Airport is well situated with easy access from all the major motorways including the M1, M6, M40 and M42.

Coventry Airport Information

If travelling from Coventry Airport Check in is normally open 2 1/2 hours before the scheduled departure time of a flight and closes 40 minutes beforehand. Coventry Airport still operates the one piece of hand baggage per passenger rule.

Once at the airport there are bars and shops both pre and post check in. Max Bean's Café and Bar offers hot and cold snacks, and if the weather is nice Al Fresco dining. It is located in Rapide House where you can also purchase sweets, newspapers, magazines and gifts. There is also a Free Barclays Cash Machine.

After check in there is a bar in the departure lounge offering a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and a selection of cold snacks, sandwiches and confectionery. An airport shop offering gifts, fragrances, books and magazines is also in the departure lounge and also offers foreign exchange in pre packed amounts of 100 Euros.

Disabled Access

At Coventry Airport all passenger areas are situated at ground level and are all wheelchair accessible. An Induction Loop system is also available. There are Blue Badge car parking spaces available adjacent to the terminal but are not pre-bookable. Coventry Airport offer assistance for disabled users and also can provide wheelchairs. If these services are required they should be requested at the time of booking.

WiFi Internet Access

Those wishing to use their laptops while waiting for their flights can do so using the Wifi internet access which is available in Max Bean's Cafe and in the Departure Lounge. This service is chargeable and can be purchased on-line or by vouchers which can be purchased from Max Beans’ or the Departure Lounge shop.

Coventry Airport By Rail, Bus or Car

By Bus or Coach: Service 737 connects the Airport with Coventry Rail Station, Pool Meadow Bus Station and Coventry City Centre. The bus departs from Coventry Airport every hour on the half hour 0630 - 2230* and every hour on the hour 0600 - 2300 from Pool Meadow Bus Station.

* From 15th March the last departure from Coventry Airport will be 2330 hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

By Train: Coventry Rail Station is just 15 minutes away from Coventry Airport and linked by the 737 bus, which stops right outside the station. Through tickets can be purchased for any rail journey to Coventry, just ask for a bus add-on ticket to Coventry Airport when buying your ticket at the station.

By Road: From the A45 Toll Bar End Roundabout travel approx 50m to the 1st roundabout and take the 1st exit onto Siskin Drive and Middlemarch Business Park. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Siskin Parkway West. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 1st exit continuing on Siskin Parkway West. The entrance to the Passenger Terminal is approximately 300m on your right. If using a Sat Nav system the postcode is CV3 4PB.
