Stanhill Court Hotel - 3 Star

This wonderful Hotel is set in 35 acres of Ancient Woodland. It is situated 4 miles from Gatwick Airport but is not on the Flight Path so you will not be disturbed by low flying aircraft. It boasts the "Most Romantic Hotel of the Year" (as awarded by the AA). Originally built in 1881 as a family home in the Scottish Baronial style Stanhill Court hotel is set high on Stan Hill, in the medieval village of Charlwood.

Each room is tastefully decorated in a tradional style many rooms with four poster beds and good views of the grounds and surrounding countryside. All rooms include an en-suite bathroom, TV, internet access, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities.

Food & Drink

Restaurant 1881 has been awarded fine dining awards from both the AA and RAC set in a wod panelled room with coal fires in the winter. Its menu reflects International Cuisine amongst more traditional dishes. Restaurant 1881 is open to residents and non residents and serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Directions To The Hotel

From M25/M23: Exit M23 at Junction 9 and proceed to the North terminal roundabout & take A23, Redhill exit. At the next roundabout (Moat House hotel on your left) turn left at the exit signs to Charlwood & Stanhill Court Hotel. Follow the road for approx 2.5 miles to Charlwood. Pass the Limes Bistro and the Rising Sun Pub on your right, take the next right hand turn at the parish hall, onto Norwood Hill road. 100 Yards further turn left onto Stanhill Road where a brown tourist sign indicates Stanhill Court Hotel. Stanhill Court Hotel is on top of the hill on the left.
