The hotel chain Holiday Inn is offering travellers discounts on their rooms when they stay at an airport hotel.

Vacations can sometimes be expensive, and to help cut down the cost Holiday Inn guarantees that any holidaymaker who books their airport accommodation at least 14 days in advance will receive a 25 per cent discount off of the best rate.

Travellers can also earn Priority Club points when they book, which gives customers even greater savings.

Reward points can be put towards air miles and hotel accommodation. Most airlines have signed up to the scheme, and an American Express-branded points card means that travellers can stay at any hotel, even a Holiday Inn rival establishment.

The company says that there are 3,500 locations to earn and redeem points and the points never expire.

Holiday Inn airport accommodation is available around the country at most UK airports.
