Flybe, the low cost airline, has announced it is considering launching a London-Newquay route, following on from Ryanair's decision to half the number of flights to the south-western town.

Exploiting a potential niche in the market, Flybe should provide a service for those still wishing to fly from Newquay to London.

London Airports boast an impressive array of hotel accommodation and airport parking.

Located in the UK's capital city, some of the airport hotels offer swimming pools, spas, and gym facilities and well as luxury accommodation.

Customers can usually get free parking for the duration of their holiday when they book one night's hotel accommodation, making savings on transport costs.

Flybe says that it will have to base its decision on whether to run the new service on many factors, including the economics and viability of introducing a service from the base - a decision that will be largely based on the strength of consumer demand.

Earlier this week Ryanair announced it would be halving the number of flights to Newquay after a new airport levy was introduced.
