Cardiff International Airport has launched a new internet service for customers wishing to fly from the airport.

The site allows tourists to book holiday packages online, as well as searching all available flights from the airport rather than visiting the various operators' sites, which should save customers' time and hassle.

The service should also make it easier for those booking hotel accommodation online, as flights and airport hotel rooms can be reserved at the same time.

Bristol offers a selection of airport hotel accommodation, and Jon Horne, managing director of the airport, told icWales that the airport wants 'the ability to effectively promote and bring services to the passenger's attention.'

He explained that as travel trends develop, the airport must evolve and keep up to date, becoming more involved in the booking process than remaining passive.

The airport's next goal is to increase passenger numbers to eight million by 2030 at the latest and reserving an airport hotel before arriving at the airport means that customer's won't be disappointed in terms of availability.
