Christ Mottershead, the chief executive of Travelzest, has said that the company is to create a new 'specialist travel group in the UK' by making four more acquisitions.

In an interview with TravelMole, Mr Mottershead revealed that Travelzest was planning to expand into the ski and golf holiday markets as well as medium-haul destinations that are currently not served by budget airlines, servicing travellers who want to venture off of the beaten track.

When organising a holiday, it is helpful to know that airport hotel accommodation and airport parking can be pre-booked online.

This will save time at the airport, and ensure that space has been reserved, essential for busy periods such as August.

'We have been approached by number of people and we are in different stages of conversation. There are some wonderful companies out there,' commented Mr Mottershead.

There are many different types of hotels that can be booked at various airports around the UK, including: Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Moat House, Radisson, Edwardian, Thistle, Premier Travel Inn, Ibis and Novotel.

They offer a range of accommodation to suit all budgets and travel needs.

Today's news on expansion plans follows on from Travelzest's announcement earlier this week that it had acquired the Holiday Express group in a £4.4 million deal.
