Jefferson Hotels, the property company set up by the Landesberg and Rosenberg families in conjunction with Galliard Homes, has completed a deal worth around £100 million for several hotels formerly belonging to airport hotel operator Moat House.

The former Moat House properties will now be leased to Rezidor SAS, and will be rebranded as Park Inns as part of the deal.

These properties are based in Cardiff, Birmingham, Nottingham, Telford, Lakeside, Bedford, Harlow, Watford and Northampton.

Eight of the former Moat House hotels will be leased to Rezidor on a long-term deal, while a ninth has been placed on a long-term management contract.

This follows Jefferson's acquisition of five hotels from Corus Hotels, as well as The St James Club in Mayfair and a further hotel in Windsor.

It also follows their establishment of Admiral taverns, a venture undertaken with the aim of purchasing pub properties.
