Stansted Express has announced it is to increase the number of services it runs between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport.

From December 11 2005, trains will depart every 15 minutes from the London station, seven days a week.

Currently a 15-minute service only runs between 08:00 GMT and 16:30 GMT, Monday to Friday and all day on Sunday.

It is hoped that by increasing the number of trains by 36 a day, commuting to the airport will be much easier.

Stansted Express's Graeme Frizzell said: 'Our frequency now matches Gatwick and Heathrow Express.

'As Stansted airport expands it is excellent that Stansted Express can offer a service comparable to that offered at other major airports.'

Tickets for the Stansted Express can be pre-booked, as can all services at Stansted Airport.

If you require airport hotel accommodation, or airport parking if you do not want to get the train, these services can be quickly and conveniently booked on the internet.
