Monarch Scheduled today announced that its summer 2006 products have gone on sale.

The launch of its 2006 range follows news that Monarch's passenger numbers reached 2.6 million this year and the airline is hoping for a busy year ahead.

Tim Jeans, managing director of Monarch Scheduled said: 'Our route network throughout Europe has continued to grow strongly from all bases throughout 2005.

'The introduction of new destinations and additional frequencies on our most popular routes for Summer 2006 will help to maintain our position as market leader to Spain from both Manchester and Birmingham and also positions us as the leading scheduled carrier to the Canary Islands from the UK.'

Monarch Scheduled flies to Spain, Gibraltar and Portugal from Aberdeen, Birmingham, Blackpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Newquay airports.

If you are planning your 2006 holiday, make sure you plan every last detail.

Airport hotel accommodation and airport car parking can also be pre-booked, which avoids unnecessary disappointment.

Using the internet to purchase your airport hotel accommodation can be extremely convenient, because it allows you to compare prices with the touch of a button, rather than making many different telephone calls.
