Three hotels in Sarasota, Florida, including one airport hotel, have completed refurbishment of some of their guest accommodations in order to provide healthier environments to their clients.

The Sarasota Hampton Inn, the Sarasota AmericInn and the Sarasota Hilton Garden Inn-Airport will now be able to offer allergy friendly rooms to their guests thanks to a room system technology called PURE.

Surfaces in the allergy friendly rooms are specially treated in order to minimize the presence of irritating substances and contaminants like yeast, bacteria, dust, pollen, mould spores, dust mites and chlorine. The special treatment is extended to almost all surfaces and materials in the room including the carpet, bedding, furniture, the walls and the air conditioning system.

An air purification system helps ensure that unwanted particles stay out of the room once its been cleaned. The special treatment costs slightly more than the untreated rooms. At the Sarasota Hampton Inn, an allergy friendly room comes at an additional $15 surcharge.

The Hilton Garden Inn Sarasota - Bradenton Airport is next to the Sarasota - Bradenton International airport. In addition, it is only 51 miles from Tampa International Airport and 55 miles from Fort Myers Regional SW Airport. The hotel offers free access to its business centre 24 hours a day and also provides a outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness centre and common lounge for relaxation and enjoyment.

During the summer the Hilton Garden Inn is offering a discount for bookings made online with rooms starting at $134 a night.
