Travellers arriving in Beijing in the future will have the option of spreading out in one of 400 luxury rooms at Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport. The contract to build the adjacent hotel to the new Terminal 3 went to Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, who will open the Langham Place Hotel in July of next year. The new terminal 3 building has been highly regarded for its cutting edge design and state of the art technology. The Langham Place Hotel will have to live up to a very high standard set by the airport. By the sounds of it- it will. The six-storey hotel will have 4,000 square metres of flexible space, top notch restaurants serving Chinese and Japanese food, catering service, room service, a water park and a spa inspired by traditional Chinese medicine. The location will not only serve to house air passengers in transit, but serve as lodgings for events being held at the nearby and also brand new China International Exhibition Centre.
