Heathrow’s Terminal 5 will soon be offering reasonably priced accommodation, thanks to the construction of a 297-room Travelodge.

Travelodge, the country’s leading budget hotel brand, has invested £30 million into the project which has created 40 new jobs.

The Heathrow hotel is easily accessible for travellers coming to or departing from Terminal 4 or 5. It is located on the M25, at junction 14. Prices for a room start at just £19 per room, per night.

Oliver Sweetman, Travelodge's District Manager for Greater London, said: "I am looking forward to bringing the best team together to help make Heathrow Terminal 4 & 5 Travelodge a great success. Staff at the hotel are being offered excellent training which includes language lesions. Between them, the current staff already speak 25 languages including Gambian, Arabic and Somalian.
