Expanding the airline’s stated goal to expand exclusive lounge services at major airports worldwide, Emirates has announced its latest dedicated airport lounge at Manchester’s air hub.

Manchester International Airport sports the 147-seat exclusive lounge for the airline’s premium class passengers, with ultra-comfortable seats provided to afford maximum luxury.

Manchester International Airport’s Emirates Lounge sprawls over a generous 9,429 feet, and has already received rave reviews from travellers who’ve experienced it. The lounge has been open to passengers since October 1, 2009. With floor

-to-ceiling windows providing breathtaking views of the airport’s runways, the lounge also treats customers to free gourmet dishes, a full bar service and plenty of dedicated workspace. The business centre within the lounge boasts

workstations with individual computers and, of course, free high-speed Internet facilities.

The Dubai-based airline has never been one to pinch the pennies over passenger comfort, and this latest mission to equip its network hubs with luxurious lounges has already cost it over a quarter of a billion dirhams, as Emirates’

Divisional Senior Vice President of Aiport Services, Mohammaed Mattar has said.

The Senior Vice President said these lounges are aimed at providing that exclusive home-away-from-home comfort, which the airline says it extremely important to its clientele.

The Manchester airport Emirates Lounge can be found at Terminal 1, and is open to the airline’s Business Class travellers as well as Gold Skywards members flying out of Manchester.
