Guests staying at the Mint Hotel Tower of London can now enjoy guided tours through history at the Tower of London, one of the City’s most recognisable and famous landmarks. The walking tours, led by a qualified local guide, are available from as low as £8 per person.

The hotel, which is conveniently located for London City Airport, sees the guided history tours as an unique way to provide hotel guests with a the kinds of special extra touches it prides itself in creating. The tours last 90 minutes and take in several of the most important historical sites of the area.

In addition to tours of the Tower, guests enjoy visiting All Hallows by the Tower, the City of London’s oldest church. After London’s Great Fire, the diarist Samuel Pepys climbed up the church’s tower to survey London’s damage.

The tour also takes in the Thames river and the former Port of London headquarters, which sit opposite the hotel. The Mint Hotel Tower of London’s location at Trinity Square makes it easy for guests to enjoy other parts of the walking tour, which include Leadenhall Market, which was a location for the Harry Potter films, and the first coffee house in London, which dates from the 17 century.

Exact pricing per person varies, depending on the size of each group. With sufficient notice, tours can be adapted for special requests.
