US-based hotel giant Hilton has launched a new property at Salt Lake City airport.

Set on Wiley Post Way, the new 172-guestroom facility is less than three miles from the Delta Air Lines hub, officials said in a press release.

Catering largely to business travellers, the property features a 24-hour business centre in addition to Hilton’s Print Spot scheme, which enables guests to print wirelessly from notebook computers and personal devices.

Also onsite is nearly 4,800 square feet of event space, an exclusive health centre, a swimming pool and a number of dining outlets, including the full-service Garden Grille and Bar and the Pavilion Pantry snack bar. The company boasts that all guest rooms feature LCD televisions, special adjustable pressure-free support beds, an ergonomic workstation and WiFi service.

Monday also saw the opening of another US Hilton property in Texarkana, Texas, in coordination with operating firm Daugherty Property Group (DPG). Officials said in a press release that the new Hilton Garden Inn is Texarkana’s first upscale property to offer a full range of services and that the opening comes alongside the grand opening of the new Texarkana Convention Center.
